Thalapathy Vijay 100 Crore Movies List – Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar also known as Vijay is a famous Indian actor, singer, and politician who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. He has acted in over 65 films and is one of the most commercially successful actors in Tamil cinema. His movies have made it to the highest-grossing films of all time, and he is among the highest-paid actors in India.
Vijay started his career as a child actor in the 1984 film Vetri. In 1992, he played the lead role in Naalaiya Theerpu. Some of his notable films include Poove Unakkaga, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Kushi and Friends. In 2003, he starred in Ghilli, which was the first Tamil film to gross over ₹500 million. Vijay is considered one of the leading actors in Tamil cinema and has won several awards.
Vijay is fondly referred to as Thalapathy and has a significant fan following. In 2009, he launched his fan club titled Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. In February 2024, Vijay announced his retirement from films and his entry into politics with the launch of a new party called Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
