It has won two Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and a Make-Up Artists And Hair Stylists Guild Award. Fans of the popular Netflix series, Bridgerton, have been eagerly waiting for the release of Season 3. The long wait after Season 2’s premiere has been difficult, but we now have some exciting news. The new chapter of the romantic drama will focus on the love story between Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton).
As we eagerly await the new season, it’s worth recalling that in Season 2, Eloise Bridgerton (played by Claudia Jessie) and Penelope’s friendship was severely tested when Eloise discovered that Penelope was the one behind the scandalous gossip column that exposed the secrets of her family. To make matters worse, Eloise’s budding relationship with Theo (played by Calam Lynch) was shattered and Penelope’s hopes of a relationship with Colin were also dashed.
Despite the drama, Season 2 did bring a happy ending for Viscount Anthony (played by Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley), who found love despite their constant bickering. In Season 3, we will see more of their relationship as well as the blossoming romance between Penelope and Colin.
