According to reports, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has addressed the fans’ demands and teased Leo 2.
The film’s official synopsis reads,
“Violently pursued by criminals who insist he is a former gangster, a humble café owner fights to save his family – and his identity.” Truth.”
Sanjay Dutt played the main role in the film, alongside Trisha Krishnan played the leading lady.

Leo 2 Update: Director Teases Sequel Possibility
The director of Leo Lokesh Kanagaraj has addressed the fans’ demands and teased Leo 2.
Recently during the Comic-Con press meet in Chennai, Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed his plans for Leo 2.
He said:
“Leo 2 is possible, provided that certain situations have to fall into place. His (Thalapathy Vijay) ambition right now is different, so I congratulate him on that. There is always a possibility for Leo 2 and I will make it if and when he calls me.”
Speaking further about the criticism received by the second part of Leo, Lokesh said:
“ I have heard about the criticism on the second half of Leo and I will take it into account for my next project with Rajinikanth.”
