In this latest chapter, the group finally confronts their attacker, allowing Jodio and Paco Lovelantes to claim their first victory.
However, Jodio is facing a major hurdle in the form of a severe injury inflicted by their foe in the previous episode. This injury could potentially take Jodio out of commission, leaving Paco and the rest of the team to pick up the slack. The chapter’s title, “The Hustle, Part 1,” appears to reference Paco’s unique Stand ability, further adding to the excitement and intrigue surrounding this latest installment.
What Happened In Jojolands Chapter 10?
In chapter 10 of JoJoLands, the story begins with a replay of the attack on Jodio Joestar, while Paco Lovelantes seems too stunned to move. Eventually, he asks his attacker who they are, but they swing for Paco’s neck with what appears to be a short sword. Paco uses The Hustle to grab a lunch tray off the table and use it as a shield.
He then uses The Hustle to supercharge his attack, punching the assailant in the face. At the same time, he uses The Hustle to pick up a nearby chair with his back muscles and launches it at their attacker. As a result, the attacker crashes into a nearby table. Jodio is still on the floor and bleeding out from his neck wound at this point.
In chapter 10 of JoJoLands, Paco takes stock of the situation and identifies the particulate floating around his enemy’s face as their Stand ability. He then starts playing with the debris, which he identifies as real sand and rock fragments, all in different colors. This prompts the attacker to stand back up, revealing their true face in the process.
Paco asks the attacker how long they’ve been following him and his friends, but the attacker doesn’t answer. Paco realizes that if they don’t surrender, the only path left would be to fight. He warns the attacker that this is his area of expertise and adds that there’s no way they’ll hand the lava rock over. However, his enemy remains silent and begins attacking, prompting Paco to defend himself in response.
Throughout chapter 10 of JoJoLands, The Hustle constantly blocks any damage to Paco’s body from the short sword, eventually allowing Paco to grab his attacker. However, he notices that his neck also feels like the sand from his enemy’s Stand ability. As he says this, clouds appear in the background sky behind them, from which the assailant’s hand and short sword spawn and try to swing at Paco.
Paco is thankfully able to counter, turning his attention to the dirt-like substance constantly floating around his enemy. He explains that the attacker fused his left arm with the image of the clouds in the sky behind him. He adds that the dirt fragments can be amassed in a way that screws up the perception of how far away they are.
In chapter 10 of JoJoLands, Paco tells Jodio to “stick a bandaid” on his wound. It is revealed that Jodio was attacked similarly to how Paco was attacked by the clouds. Paco tells him to get up and get next to him, before asking Jodio if he thinks their enemy is even human. Paco says he must be human, but adds that his skin is like sand.
The group figures out that their enemy knows even more about the Lava Rock than they do. They need to defeat them and head back home. Dragona gets excited as a bird flies towards them with the watch, but it turns out the woman is still wearing it. The enemy appears and steals the Lava Rock from Dragona, stabbing him before disappearing. Jodio uses his November Rain to reveal the enemy’s location and they prepare to fight.
