There is bad news for the fans of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone living in Gulf countries, who were eagerly waiting for the release of the pair’s film ‘Fighter’.
According to film business expert and producer Girish Johar

The reason for the ban has not been revealed yet. This film will be released in Indian theaters on January 25, 2024. The film was directed by Siddharth Anand and the other cast stars are Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.

Plot/Story
The film revolves around the Balakot airstrike which was carried out by the Indian Armed Forces around the city of Balakot in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. This air strike was carried out in response to a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on the alleged largest camp of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). About 40 CRPF soldiers lost their lives in this terrorist attack.
His first film, Bang Bang!, was made for ₹160 crore and grossed ₹340 crore worldwide. Their second collaboration, War, was made with ₹150 crore. The film, which also stars Tiger Shroff, grossed ₹471 crore.
In this film superstar Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty. Deepika Padukone plays the role of Squadron Leader Meenal Rathod aka Minni.
