According to sources, the film was announced on 10 January 2021. Pre-production was significantly delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Principal photography eventually began in November 2022, with filming taking place across various schedules in Assam, Hyderabad, Jammu Kashmir and Mumbai, and was completed by the end of October. Real-life Indian Air Force cadets acted in the film.
The film contains references to the 2019 Pulwama attack, the 2019 Balakot airstrike and the 2019 India–Pakistan border skirmishes. The film’s soundtrack album, composed by the Vishal-Shekhar duo and featuring cinematographer Sachith Paulose, consists of five songs. The scenes are managed by DNEG.
