“Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” is an Indian Telugu-language epic action film directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The movie stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran and follows the story of Deva and Vardha’s friendship. Deva helps Vardha become the undisputed ruler of Khansaar.
The film has music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, and editing by Ujwal Kulkarni. Principal photography for the film began in January 2021 and wrapped up by early December 2023.
Recently, A sequel to the film Salaar titled “Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam” is currently in development. Reports suggest that production for the movie will begin after the director, Neel, completes his film with N. T. Rama Rao Jr. This film is set to begin filming in March 2024.
